In loving memory of the late Smt. Ila Kothari, this scholarship honors a life defined by compassion, resilience, and steadfast support for others.
Ila was extremely passionate about fostering the Hindu religion and culture. She was a founding member of Shri Sanatan Mandir, Parsippany, NJ, and served there for three decades. She founded the Sunday school for children, ran yoga classes and founded a monthly classical music program to inspire students to perform in a temple setting.
May this scholarship encourage and empower deserving Hindu students to receive a college education to serve our community in the future.
